At AZEK, we believe that doing the right thing for our communities, our employees, our customers, our stakeholders and the planet is the only way to do business. We have a unique ability to positively advance a circular and sustainable economy and continuously lower our carbon footprint through the sheer scale of our recycle consumption. Since 2019, we have recycled and used more than 2.1 billion pounds of otherwise landfill-bound waste and scrap to manufacture our products. Approximately 85% of our composite decking and 60% of our advanced PVC decking is made from recycled materials and the majority of our products are recyclable at the end of their useful lives. We won’t stop there. In February 2021, we announced our ambitious goal of using 1 billion pounds of recycled material annually by the end of 2026, further demonstrating our commitment to accelerating the use of recycled materials and continuously reformulating and innovating to bring new products to market with increased recycled content.
